Great Boston Fire of 1872 in Pictures

Picture slideshow showing the destruction of this..."fire" as we look closer again something is not right, looks more like a city after a war than just a buildings fire. With building rubble everywhere not much scorch marks, bent steel... It looks like something that does not leave marks was used... maybe like a vortex canon of some sort... Anyway something is not adding in this, how can only fire bring down huge buildings made with bricks and stones !?

The Great Boston Fire of 1872 was Boston's largest fire, and still ranks as one of the most costly fire-related property losses in American history. The conflagration began at 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 1872, in the basement of a commercial warehouse at 83–87 Summer Street.[1] The fire was finally contained 12 hours later, after it had consumed about 65 acres (26 ha) of Boston's downtown, 776 buildings and much of the financial district. Experts have deduced that the fire began in the basement of a warehouse on the corner of Kingston Street and Summer Street.
