Notes -
This is not a regular tincture made from herbs and alcohol but an alchemists elixir which can be crafted in a single day. It is a wet method of the spagyric and plant stone.
Ingredients for 1 liter of 50-70% alcohol are this. 10% of your volume should be made up with herbs. So around 30-50ml of herbs per 1lt.
Then either half to 2/3rd teaspoon of both potassium carbonate and calcium oxide or around half a teaspoon of potassium hydroxide.
Once it has cooked for an hour or so on a mild simmer, add around 50 ml of vinegar. Add more if it does not neutralize the elixir. Taste or use ph strips to see.
