Early Christian Church History Pt 2, Origen Caused Arius, Accidentally. Jesus Christ and Theology. How One BAD IDEA Leads to Another! Modalism to Arianism in Early Christian Church History (Pt 1) Brandon Tatum and Marcus Rogers are both very popular YouTubers who identify as Christian. Brandon has denied the divinity of Jesus Christ, and has even going so far as to say that the Holy Spirit is not the God of the Bible. Brandon's beliefs can basically be summed up by saying that he holds to the ancient heresy of Arianism, which claimed that Jesus Christ was a created being (rather than God). Marcus Rogers, on the other hand, teaches an even older heresy which most commonly known as Modalism. Modalism teaches that God The Father, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are all just modes, or manifestations of God, and as such it denies the permanent, eternal distinctions between the persons of the Godhead. In this video we examine the origins of these heresies, then we examine Brandon Tatum's beliefs a bit further. In part two, we will see Brandon literally side with Marcus Rogers against Trinitarians, even though Brandon has professed for over a year that Jesus is not God, and Marcus believes that The Father and the Holy Spirit are simply manifestations of Jesus, the only true God.
