Pardon the audio. I had to tone down the voices a bit because from my perspective while wearing the headset the voice audio would otherwise blow my eardrums. The music being played is coming from AuraTheEvinkian which is the guy dancing in the video. VRChat players often play music through their microphones which may or may not cause people around them to mute them depending on the quality and type of music played over the mic. In this case the music was enjoyable and did not come across as annoying or anything like that. It also helped that Aura was putting a performance for everyone with an avatar dishing out over 200,000 polygons of animations and effects. I friended him so I can see these effects since I was using custom safety settings.

I was playing a game in VRChat called Murder 4 with Oliver Skulldog and a handful of others where everyone is randomly assigned a role of either Detective, Bystander, or Murderer. The Detective and Bystanders have to work together to find out who the Murderer is among them and kill him/her before the Murderer kills them all. Think of it as playing Among Us but without the voting system. This game of Murder 4 brought back so many memories of when I played Dust 514 on the Playstation 3. It was an absolutely buggy game with major imbalances but it was fun as hell to play during the few years in which it lasted. God, I miss that game.

As for the title of this video, that is an ode to the original diaries that I have created while playing this game long ago. Here is a link to the old Dust Search website which has now been archived by its creator, Chribba, who is well known in Eve Online as the pilot of the famous Veldnought.

Holy shit, Bitchute takes forever to finish processing videos and sometimes they get memory holed. I had to reupload this video again. I am trying to keep these videos uploaded in chronological order so that the topics won't look out of place or out of order. I recommend following me on Odysee since that sites makes it easier to upload and publish. My BitChute account, as I mentioned already, is a backup for my Odysee account.

Why are we here?

Furality was the first VR convention and the first furry convention I have ever attended. This was also my first time seeing an Eve Online player host a furry panel... in a VR convention of all places.

Recharging my batteries.

It has dawned on me that navigating Eve Online's UI with a pair of Valve Index controllers is not as intuitive as I had previously hoped it would be. The world you see in the background is the Pool Parler world available in VRChat. The avatars I used are Rexouium. At the end of the video I was greeted by someone whom I was waiting for. Playing Eve Online on the side was just me trying something new and I was ready to end it anyways to save my computer from self-annihilation.

As of the time of this video being uploaded, the facial tracker arrived in the mail. Now to wait for the OSC application to be updated now that VRChat broke everything including eye+facial tracking with this update.

Making progress so far. Now to deal with that other problem.

The solution turned out to be simple yet unnecessary*. Shout out to Tkya at the VRCFaceTracking Discord for helping me out.

*Unnecessary in the sense that I shouldn't have to resort to this method out of the box for a kit that cost me north of $1,300.

This was just to see how my current hardware configuration can hold up under such a high load. Until I upgrade my hardware, don't expect me to do this very often unless it is to stress test my system again. In all likelihood I will be replacing the computer entirely (case and all).
