SLEEPCHAMBER on Fri.13th "The Audience Experience".(AXIS-Boston 1991)

SleepChamber's Performance on Friday the 13th 1991 at AXIS-Boston had them outfitted in CLOCKWORK ORANGE gear. This is rare from a band that wears 'All Black' as a uniform to their dark and occult image. The audience was aggressively drunk and stoned. Creating a temperment over most of the audience to become violent.-(Zewizz burns narcotic incense during performances)- Shot by Munico Ching from the "Ultraviolent"** mood & fighting of the crowd. By the time they got to "Kiss the Whip"-(a favorite of the fans)- female fetish dancers entered the stage. Causing the crowd to erupt into a cascading mass of hair and black clothing. Many finding themselves on the floor. I did see some people sick from the 'incense'. I could not breathe and got knocked to the filthy floor by a girl waving her bra at the stage. The Venue security stopped the performance because of some injuries .Even after the performance the club (AXIS) had to leave all the doors open to vent the smoke. I'm sure the Fire Marshall would have shut down the show five minutes in. I do not understand why this band has to use so much fog and smoke on the audience. I'm sure I experienced a sensory overload along with Ms Munico Ching from this madness. I was talked out of calling the police. I felt like contacting 'Amnesty International to complain.Boycott this band ~ Derek McArthur *** ULTRAVIOLENCE- term from "A Clockwork Orange" movie (by Stanley Kubrick 1971).
