I view the Bitcoin white paper as a teaser. It's not the Holy Scriptures, or something like the US Constitution that needs to be constantly cited chapter and verse. Bitcoin's history and future are not held hostage by the white paper's title.

At its essence, Bitcoin is a social consensus, made possible by software. This social consensus includes:

--21 million max supply
--Proof of Work as the consensus mechanism
--Full nodes
--Bitcoin blockchain's history and the current state of Bitcoin UTXOs.
