Right after I took this video. I walked over to him. He swooped to a closer and lower branch to the creek. Then he flew about 6 inches over my head! He wasn’t trying to scare me or anything he was just bouncing around from spit to spot. I have become totally fascinated with owls. This little guy lets me get real close to him. I don’t mess with him though because mom is always around and they have razor sharp talons! These owls I do believe are social owls. The mom is use to the neighbors. She has been having babies every year in the same spot for like 9 years! Everyone of the neighbors love having this family of owls to watch over us!
