Nadir - Playthrough Part 2

Did another run of Gluttony and this time it went better. I got a stealth heal card near the start which made recovery a lot smoother, especially combined with the 10HP heal you get after each step. This made me realise the importance of the Redraw function - you get all delayed effects like the above mentioned heal and you get a 3 new cards while the ones your opponent has are flipped. You can utilise this to avoid the reaction when you are about to fill all the slots, but keep in mind that some enemies have a constant redraw effect, which can be a problem if you do it too much. This time around I reached the boss of Gluttony - Beelzebub. His cards applied a lot of debuffs like Decay (taking damage every time you play a card), Bleed (taking piercing damage every turn) and Rust (reduce your armour every turn).

Defeating Beelzebub unlocked a new Circle of Hell - Wrath and the Exalted Crypt for purchase at Nadir, which unlocks a new node - the Damned Reward - it gives you an option to choose one soul with a bonus in combat like gaining Counter or Precise at the start of the battle. I even saw this when I started a run, but I had to cut it short.
